Finding “your people” in life is so important, and I love that Paige is one of those women for me. Just wait until you see what we cooked up together for y’all... Andy by “cook” I mean the pretty tables we styled for you... Neither of us cook very much, but we did successfully make biscuits from scratch one time together thanks to @callieshotlittlebiscuit. Is it normal to love plates?... Ill forever sigh when looking back at images from my Charleston shoot with @paigeminear and @sweetcarolinedesigns. Life is like a bowl of sprinkles... they look so f Life is like a bowl of sprinkles... they look so fun and pretty, but you never know when they might spill all over the place and make the biggest mess you’ve ever seen 🤣 Okay, so I don’t normally repost other people’s pictures that I have nothing to do with, but I love this image from @thetinytassel (her jewelry and clothes are so fun and fab), and I was actually at the event (@thesouthernc) where this massive bowl of sprinkles was offered. If you check out my stories today, you will see that there are several quotes about friendship and women. I never knew friendships with women at this stage in life could be so hard and that sometimes letting go (which is even harder) is the best thing to do. I’m really working on personal growth, and I’m learning that you don’t always grow with the women you’ve always thought would be your “gang,” and that’s OKAY. I need Jesus more and more every day, and while it’s tough for me to let the “mess show,” it’s also beautiful, as the new friendships growing from this stage in my life have been beyond amazing and anything I could’ve expected or hoped for. Sorry for the long rant, but I wanted to share my heart today, as I know several of you are feeling the same, and I want you to know that you are NOT alone 😊
• Delegate the Details • Im working on an upco • Delegate the Details • Im working on an upcoming shoot and in doing some “research,” I came across this image from a styled shoot I had the honor of working on with my friend and uber-talented event planner @fetenashville. THIS y’all is why you delegate design and party planning to the pro’s. This is a 3-D painting/floral installation that served as the artwork backdrop for coordinating escort cards, and it turned out so good I wanted to preserve it somehow and hang it in my house. The art was done by @tennhensdesign and the flowers by @flwrshop. All bad-ass women in the event industry in the south and all who I get to call friends.
