Welcome back, y’all! I’m thrilled to share my second set of holiday collaborations and today it’s all about items for hostessing and hostess gifting. These pieces are sure to bring a festive touch to your home and tabletop, and they also make fabulous presents. In collaboration with Southern Bungalow Co., I’m launching my “Home for the Holidays” scented candle. With Missing Q Press, I developed a line of festive swizzle sticks, coasters, napkin rings, and place card holders. First up, let’s take a look at the candles.

You’ve heard me talk about my Southern Bungalow candles a lot (especially the “Georgia”), so it’s no surprise that I enlisted them to create the perfect holiday candle. “Home for the Holidays” is deliciously earthy, piney, and ever-so-slightly-sweet (prices start at $32). The official scent notes describe it as: “crisp pine with a background of sandalwood, vanilla, and a very slight note of berry.” I especially like that it’s not too feminine and Paul loves it as much as I do. What makes these candles extra special are the ceramic jars. The “Hobnail” and “Signature” styles are both beautiful and can be repurposed as a bud vase or trinket holder when the candle is done. Y’all – stock up on these! They’re perfect presents for teachers, girlfriends, hair stylists, hostess gifts…the list goes on (plus, Southern Bungalow offers beautiful wrapping). Click here to order.

Now for our fabulous tabletop items, which you can order here (prices start at $22). Missing Q Press is based in Dallas and designs the most beautiful letterpress and acrylic pieces. We’ve worked together to create a fabulous edit of mix-and-match bar and tabletop accessories that are sure to bring a pop of fun to your holiday celebrations. And let’s face it, we could ALL use a pop of fun right about now!
We designed this collection to complement the tabletop pieces you already own. Case in point, to style these photos I used some favorite Juliska pieces that I’ve had for years (you might even recognize the napkins and plates from last year’s Christmas shoot). Missing Q’s acrylic place card holders and napkin rings are the perfect finishing touches and make everything feel like new. Accessories like these are a great way to get more mileage out of your go-to place settings, and they also make fantastic presents (especially for the “hard-to-shop-for” set).
Let’s chat about the coasters and swizzle sticks. I love that there are so many fun ways to style these. Of course, the swizzle sticks are a fabulous addition to festive cocktails, but I also use them to skewer marshmallows for hot chocolate with the kids (they’re adorable stocking stuffers, too). We came up with several sets of everything so you can easily swap it out depending on your gathering. Hosting a family event? Stick to the “Classic Holiday” or “Tortoise Acrylic Antlers.” But for cocktails with girlfriends, the “Cursive Holiday” swizzles are perfect (they say funny things like “Naughty” and “Bougie”). Pair those with cheeky coasters (these or these) and you’re set. The coasters and swizzles make for a fab hostess gift, as well.
There are so many fun items in this collection that it’s actually tough to show them all “in action!” I definitely urge you to check out the website and just take it all in.
Phew – we’ve reached the end! Thank you so much for your kind comments and support as I launch all of these collaborations. I’m so delighted at your enthusiasm for the purses and earrings from yesterday, and I can’t wait for your thoughts on today’s “Hostess Edit.” Happy shopping!
